Back-up Plan: Go back in time with menu prices from 1990
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Halfway Cafe is having a Rollback Price Celebration next week (November 8 to 11). All menu items at all six locations across the state (Dedham, Canton, Maynard, Holbrook, Watertown, and Marlborough) will be at 1990s prices.
Holbrook's Halfway Cafe offers June 30 beer dinner
For the first time, the Halfway Cafe will be offering a beer dinner at its establishment in Holbrook on June 30 at 6 p.m. Out of its seven locations, the Holbrook site was chosen because of its recently renovated function room, said Halfway Cafe corporate chef Stephen Allegro. The Halfway Cafe and Samuel Adams Beer teamed up to offer a four-course dinner designed to complement four different brews made by the beer company.
This Monday, April 19, the Halfway Cafe restaurant will celebrate the grand opening of their new Maynard location by giving out free wings at all locations. Yum! (Great way to celebrate Patriots Day.)
The Halfway Cafe raises $1,155 for Dedham Food Pantry
The Halfway Cafe in Dedham presented the Dedham Food Pantry with a check for $1,155. The money was raised at the Halfway Cafe’s annual Party and Charity Auction. The Halfway Cafe presented the donation during the pantry’s second annual “Harvest Telethon,” television broadcast.
Six-unit Halfway Cafe concept positioning to go all the way
There’s nothing halfway about outpacing the field in sales, and Halfway Cafe, a six-unit casual-dining chain based here, is doing exactly that. Last year, the chain’s sales were up 8 percent from the year earlier, at a time when many restaurant operations were struggling to simply keep pace with inflation.
