Fundraising at the Halfway

Here at the Halfway Cafe, we do our best to become involved in all of the communities that surround each of our seven restaurants. Over the past twenty years, we have held many fundraising events, the largest being our Annual Charity Holiday Auctions and Annual Golf Tournament, amongst many other fundraising events that have benefited local charities. Because of these events, the Halfway Cafe has been able to donate over $345,000 to local food pantries, homeless shelters, The Jimmy Fund, MDA, Make a Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity and many other local organizations.

Social responsibility is very important to us at the Halfway and in looking for ways to increase our community involvement, we have created the “Cafe Kickback” Program. This is our way of becoming more involved with local organizations such as schools, sports teams, churches, national associations, scout troops, charitable causes, hospitals, and other local fundraisers in order to give back to the community.

How does it work?

Your team, group or organization chooses a specific date to host a Cafe Kickback fundraiser at one of our Halfway Cafe locations. On that date, from open to close, when your supporters dine in or order take out from the specified Halfway Cafe location and present a “Donation Ticket” that we have created for your organization, a certain percentage of those sales (excluding tax & gratuity) will be donated back to your organization!

Percentages we will donate back to your organization are as follows:

  • Sales up to $500 – 10% will be donated
  • Sales between $501‐$1,000 – 15% will be donated
  • Sales over $1,000 – 20% will be donated

It’s that simple!

To get started, please print and fill out the application below. Bring the application in to the location you wish to host your Cafe Kickback fundraiser, and speak with a manager to set a date. Once you have a date we will get the Donation Tickets to you and you can email or hand them out to supporters of your organization.
